At KALఅA by Kankatala, we want every sari you choose to meet your expectations. This policy explains how returns and exchanges work for purchases made at our store or, where applicable, through the Site.

Handloom Character

Our sarees are handcrafted, and small weaving irregularities are a natural part of the handloom process — they are part of what makes each piece unique, not a manufacturing defect. These characteristics do not, by themselves, qualify a product for return.

Eligibility for Return or Exchange

• Requests must be raised within 7 days of purchase or delivery.
• The product must be unused, unwashed, and returned with all original tags and packaging intact.
• Damage caused by improper care, alteration, or misuse is not eligible for return.
• Sale, clearance, or custom/made-to-order pieces may be marked non-returnable at the time of purchase.

How It Works

To start a return or exchange, reach out to us via our Contact page with your purchase details. Once we receive the returned product, our team will inspect it to confirm it meets the conditions above.

If approved, you can choose either an exchange for another product, or a credit note/voucher redeemable against a future purchase. If the return is not approved after inspection, the product will be sent back to you.

Disputes

Any questions or disputes relating to a return can be raised with us via the Contact page or by writing to [email protected]. Our team’s decision on a return, following inspection, is final. Our liability in connection with any product is limited to the price paid for that product.

This policy is governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
